Niulang took up a girl named Zhinu(the Girl Weaver)’s clothes and knew each other.They fell in love and had birth to two children.But the Heaven didn’t allow them to be alone.Zhinu was brought back to the Heaven. The Tauri Immortal told Niulang to put on shoes made from his leather after his death .Niulang arrived the Heaven using leather shoes but the Mother Lady Queen lined out the Milky Way with her hairpin, separating the couple. Later, the Mother Lady Queen got moved somehow by the spirit and allowed them to meet on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month every year.
