Even in Chinese history Empress Dowager Cixi had not used the golden throne chair.Twenty-four emperors had sat in the chair and ruled there for almost 600 years. Then Yuan Shikai wanted to restore monarchy ,but he dislike the chair because of its height.He let someone get rid of the chair and redo a new one.Somehow,the golden chair had been lost later.An antique expert found it in a storage of Beijjing forbidden city until 1959.
