It is generally known that it is hard to get a taxi in Beijing. But a lot of foreign friedns who come to Beijing may be unfamiliar with it. You perhaps wonder to know ,“why it is so hard to get a taxi in somewhere?” To tell the truth, it is real. Generally, it is easy to get a taxi in airport, except for the rainy day, the snowy day and windy day etc . Besides, it is easy to get a taxi from 9am to 5pm. Beyond that , it is hard to get a taxi anywhere or anytime. You might need luck for getting a taxi, if you can get a taxi within a short time, you are very lucky!
And again, it's not possible to get a taxi in Chang An Avenue and in the front of North Gate of Beijing Forbidden City.
