Huangyaguan Great Wall is located in Jixian county, Tianjin municipality, about 120km from Beijing central city. Huangyaguan Great Wall is situated at the foot of a mountain and beside a river, having beautiful natural landscape. Huangyaguan Great Wall is an important pass in the Great Wall in Chinese history. Huangyaguan Great Wall was built in 556, the only entrance to the town. Because rock near Huangyaguan is yellowish brown and the Wall looks splendid in green and gold when the sun sinks below the horizon, it was called Huangyaguan(yellow cliff) .
