The famous Confucius did live during the Spring and Autumn Period. Many new kingdoms appeared on China at this period.More walls were put up to defend the borders of the different kingdoms.
The first part of Great Wall of China was built by the State of Qi.
Great Wall of China was built again by the Qin and Han Dynasties in order to resist the nomadic attack.
Great Wall of China was built for the last time during the Ming Dynasty.
