In 1998, the Summer Palace famous scenic spot in Beijing was listed into the "World Heritage List".The Summer Palace was called the Garden of Qingyiyuan before, built in 1750 . It is located in the northwest of Beijing. The imperial garden is the best preserved in the world and the largest still in existence in China. It has a total area of more than 290 hectares.The hill covers one fourth of the area, the lake covers three fourth.
